There are two Boucherie Toobrush Filling & Trimming Machines, lets continue to refer to them as TBFM MK 1, and TBFM MK 3.
Both Machines were manufactured by Boucherie, in Izegem, Belgium. Any bona fide brush maker will know of Boucherie as they along with Zohoransky in Germany dominate the brush making equipment worldwide.
The TBFM MK 3,
This is the newest machine and has very few hours on the clock.
This machine will fill 750 tufts per minute, and could produce on a single shift in 1 week costing @ 85% efficiency 3415 brushes.
Currently, The machine in two sections but these can be brought together to provide an in line production unit, which only requires one operator.
The TBFM MK 1,
was previously set up as an in line production unit, again one operator required only.
This machine will run on the existing set-up @ 650 tufts per minute and on a single shift in one week will produce approximately 2900 brushes. Please note that this machine has a special bi-level trimming unit which allows for the outside tufts to be longer than the inner rows.
It has single fill nylon boxes, and has two setups, one for the adult brush and one for the junior brush. Both brushes have the same number of tufts so there are no major adjustments going from one brush to the other.
Together with this machine we offer 1 × 8 cavity adult toothbrush mould and 1 × 4 cavity junior toothbrush mould, both in good and recent working condition.
The machine is older but has two brush moulds and is a very good toothbrush on completion.
On the TBFM MK1, you have the Finish designed Comborol handles, designed by the prominent dental surgeon Anna Marie Raeste, and highly recommended by the dental profession.
There is a nylon cutter
We would throw in some Du Pont Tynex nylon, the best available in the market, and a few boxes of cupro silver nickel anchor wire.
